Armen Der Kiureghian Gives Keynote Lecture at International Conference on Applications of Statistics and Probability in Civil Engineering
< 1 min readVANCOUVER, Canada – On July 15, AUA President Dr. Armen Der Kiureghian gave a keynote lecture at the 12th International Conference on Applications of Statistics and Probability in Civil Engineering, which took place in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Der Kiureghian, a leading scholar in the field of civil engineering risk and reliability analysis, presented the latest developments of research he has conducted with his Berkeley students, some of it while serving at AUA. At the beginning of his presentation, he made a brief introduction of AUA to a crowd of over 300 of his colleagues.
