AGBU Papazian Library Online Collection Grows with Addition of Oxford Handbooks

YEREVAN, Armenia – The American University of Armenia (AUA)’s AGBU Papazian Library is pleased to share that 86 Oxford Handbooks on the subjects of Literature, Classical Studies, and History are now available online with unlimited access to the AUA community.

Access to this collection has been possible through the American International Consortium of Academic Libraries (AMICAL) grant-funded purchase. 

Library Director, Satenik Avakian, stated, “I would like to thank the Mellon Foundation for their generous financial support of the AMICAL member institutions’ subscription to the Oxford Handbooks Online. I am very pleased to be able to make these scholarly collections available to our AUA community through the library website. They are a wonderful addition to our collection and will enrich the learning and research of our faculty and students in these areas.”

Oxford Handbooks offer authoritative and up-to-date surveys of original research in a particular subject area, bringing together the world’s leading scholars to write review essays that evaluate the current thinking on a field or topic.
