Dr. Vartan Gregorian Continues to Support AUA’s AGBU Papazian Library

image001YEREVAN, Armenia – The American University of Armenia (AUA)’s AGBU Papazian Library recently received a donation of seven boxes of books from the personal library of Dr. Vartan Gregorian. Dr. Gregorian has made a series of donations to the AGBU Papazian Library beginning in 2010, now totaling over 575 books and periodicals on various topics, including the social sciences and humanities.

AUA Interim President Dr. Armen Der Kiureghian notes, “The American University of Armenia is grateful for the generous contributions of Dr. Vartan Gregorian. These donations to our AGBU Papazian Library allow us to provide valuable educational resources to our students here at AUA and to our patrons from the greater public.”

The AGBU Papazian Library at the American University of Armenia is a modern, state-of-the-art research facility that serves over 12,000 patrons throughout the Republic of Armenia. The library is home to over 42,000 volumes of books and over 65,000 online journals and is equipped with individual study carrels, group study rooms, 35 computer workstations, and both wired and wireless internet access.
