AUA ACE Announces Green Architecture Textbook Cover Design Competition

YEREVAN, Armenia – The American University of Armenia (AUA) Acopian Center for the Environment (AUA ACE) is pleased to announce an opportunity for young architects and graphic designers to design the cover for a soon-to-be-published textbook on environmentally responsible and energy-efficient building design. The UNDP-GEF “Improving Energy Efficiency in Buildings” project is publishing the textbook for architecture and urban-planning students. The lead author of the textbook is Alen Amirkhanian, director of AUA Acopian Center for the Environment.

Young architects and graphic designers are invited to submit designs for the cover of this textbook. The cover includes front cover, cover spine, and back cover. To download detailed instructions, please click here.

The AUA Acopian Center for the Environment (AUA ACE) is a research center of the American University of Armenia. AUA ACE promotes the protection and restoration of the natural environment through research, education, and community outreach. AUA ACE’s focus areas include sustainable natural resource management, biodiversity and conservation, greening the built environment, clean energy and energy efficiency, as well as information technology and the environment.
