Kevork Kechichian, Senior VP Engineering at Qualcomm, joined the company in 2007 and has led development teams of various chip technologies at one of the world’s leading hi tech companies.

Last year, he assumed leadership of the Global Systems-on-a-Chip team, managing worldwide design centers covering all pre and post silicon efforts within the company. In this role, Kevork has built a strong worldwide SoC and digital development organization that utilizes a high degree of automation, risk management, and predictive analytics. He has also driven and instituted SoC process improvements leading to efficient, high quality, and scalable SoC development. In addition, Kevork has been the executive sponsor of all security and HW CCI protection-related activities across the organization.

Prior to joining Qualcomm, Kevork had two decades of experience in a variety of technology-related companies, and is the holder of 14 U.S. patents granted in the areas of video data extraction, packetization, and processing. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
