The ecclesiastical relations between Cilician Armenia and Frankish Syria (1097-1291)

Claude Armen Mutafian was born in 1942 in a family that escaped from genocide. He is a mathematics professor and doctor of historical sciences. He is a member of the National Academy of Science of Armenia and has taught mathematics at universities in France and other countries. His travels to modern Turkey and Armenia since 1980 led him to the discovery of history, especially of the medieval Middle East and particularly of Cilician Armenia.
He is the author of several publications on this topic and has organized three big exhibitions:
“The Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia,” in the chapel of the Sorbonne, Paris, 1993
“Roma-Armenia,” Sistine Chapel, Vatican and Armenia, 1999
“Arménie : La magie de l’écrit,” Marseille, 2007

«Եկեղեցական յարաբերութիւնները Կիլիկեան Հայաստանի եւ ֆրանկԱսորիքի միջեւ (1097-1291 թթ.)»
Քլոդ Արմէն Մութաֆեանը ծնուել է 1942 թ.՝ 1915 թ. ցեղասպանութիւնիցմազապուրծ ծնողների ընտանիքում։
Նա մաթեմատիկայի դասախօս է եւ պատմական գիտութիւնների դոկտոր։ ՀՀԳԱԱ արտասահմանեան անդամ։
Կիլիկիայի Հայոց թագաւորութեան պատմութեան եւ մշակոյթի վերաբերեալբազմաթիւ աշխատանքների հեղինակ է։
Երեք մեծ ցուցահանդէս է կազմակերպել.
- «Կիլիկիայի հայոց թագաւորութիւնը»՝ Սորբոնի մատուռ (1993),
- «Հռոմ – Հայաստան»՝ Վատիկան, Սիքստինեան սրահ,
- «Գրի մոգականութիւնը»՝ Մարսել (2007)
2002 թ. Փարիզ 1 Պանթէոն Սորբոն համալսարանում պաշտպանել է թեզ՝«Հայկական դիւանագիտութիւնը խաչակրաց արշաւանքներիժամանակաշրջանում» թեմայով։
