Management of Virtual Machines

About the Event:
The talk will cover VMware’s virtualization technology, Virtual Machines (VM), management of IT infrastructures and applications, anomaly detection and root causing. The main problem is to find a sick VM and reveal the nature of a problem.
R programming will include Principal Component Analysis, K-means clustering, Time Series outlier detection, and classification by decision trees, SVM, and C5 methods.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Arnak Poghosyan is a Data Scientist and Staff Engineer at VMware, currently working on time series forecasting and anomaly detection problems, deep learning, recurrent neural networks.
He has received his PhD from National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.
