French-Armenian Novels from 1928-1960

About the Event:
In this unique lecture, renowned writer Krikor Beledian will discuss how the novel became the main art form for documenting and expressing the fragile Armenian diasporan reality after the Genocide. Among the important writers of that period are Vorpuni, Shahnur, and Sarafian. This lecture will incorporate the cultural, literary, and historical strands of the period.
