DESIGNING WITH DATA / ՏՎՅԱԼՆԵՐՈՎ ԴԻԶԱՅՆ

Through the development of information technologies our relationship with objects and the built environment have become intrinsic that has allowed the world to become a live information platform. The rise of digital methods in design, real-time environmental sensing and physical computing, as well as simulation platforms for environmental analysis, have
produced a renewed interest in the relationship between urbanism, social dynamics and natural phenomena. This suggests the integration of environmental aspects into the design process not through the reproduction of pre-existing urban or typological models, but through the development of prototypes based on data collected from our environments. This panel focuses on the potentials of this working methodology.
