Armenian Museum of Jerusalem: Report on the New Museum Exhibition Plan with the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem

About the speaker:

Claude-Armen Mutafyan is a mathematician and historian who specializes in Armenian history. Born in 1942 in France to survivors of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, he became a Doctor of Historical Sciences and also a member of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences. He has authored several works about the history and culture of the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia.

Throughout his career, he has organized three large exhibitions:

  • “The Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia,” Sorbonne Chapel, 1993
  • “Rome-Armenia,” Vatican, the Sistine Hall
  • “The Magic of Writing,” Marseille, 2007

Claude Mutafyan received his PhD from Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University in 2002.
