The American University of Armenia (AUA) hosted the Second Annual Student Research Conference. Over 60 students, faculty, and other in-service professionals attended the conference. The program featured 24 papers and posters in the fields of linguistics and applied linguistics presented by graduate students and recent alumni from AUA, the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University, and Yerevan State University.

Dr Arman Sarvarian will present on the putative role in the Syrian civil war of the International Criminal Court (ICC). In particular, he will analyze the political and legal problems, the role of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), the experience of the first decade of the ICC, and allegations of serious international crimes committed against the Armenian community in Syria.
The AUA Acopian Center for the Environment is hosting a public lecture on Wednesday, March 27 at 6:00 pm on the topic of forest management. The presentation will be delivered by Ani Haykuni, the manager of Forestry Services at the Armenian Tree Project (ATP) Charitable Foundation.
