Professor Karnik Tarverdi is Director of Extrusion Technology at the Wolfson Centre for Materials Processing, Institute of Materials and Manufacturing, Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering at Brunel University London (UK).
This is the third year that the AUA Acopian Center for the Environment (ACE) is implementing this initiative in partnership with the South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Boell Foundation.
“It’s an opportunity for students to get involved in the emerging world of unmanned aerial systems," said Sean Reynolds, adjunct lecturer and researcher at ACE.
This year the AUA Ecotourism Conference brought together representatives of more than 100 organizations and communities from all regions of Armenia and Artsakh.
The purpose of the conference is to accelerate the development of ecotourism in Armenia by offering a platform for exchange of ideas and experiences as well as creating a network of stakeholders.
The GAtES project promotes the further study of ecosystem services and application of PPGIS-based methods by AUA faculty and researchers in their fields of biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
