[slaq.am] On September 9, a working group of the Burned Area Emergency Response (BAER) team of the United States Forest Service (USFS) left for Khosrov Forest State Reserve, joined by specialists from AUA’s Acopian Center for the Environment and WWF Armenia. The purpose of the working group was to conduct surveys and compose reports and assessments in a number of districts.

The delegation was comprised of high rank officials from the Ministry, department heads and rectors from Universities in Iraq, as well as representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Armenia and RA Ministry of Education and Science.

A student of the American University of Armenia (AUA), Armen is set to fulfil his military service in Artsakh. “I am excited to join the army and hope that my service will proceed well.
