YEREVAN, Armenia – The American University of Armenia (AUA) is proud to announce that Prometric has awarded the Testing Center under AUA Extension the Pace Setters Certificate of Achievement  following the recent DVR Audit.

Prometric, a U.S. company in the test administration industry, operates a large testing network comprising thousands of sites in 180 countries around the globe. It is the world’s most secure testing network that develops and delivers tests for academic, corporate, government, financial, healthcare, professional associations and technology markets. AUA Extension is an official representative of Prometric in the region accepting test-takers from Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Russia, and other parts of the world. The Pace Setters Certificate of Achievement is a result of the AUA Extension Prometric team’s consistency in maintaining strict security protocols in test administration.

“This is another achievement AUA Extension is proud to share with the community. Test Center manager Anna Maghakyan (MBA ‘14), as well as administrators Hasmik Gevorgyan and Armine Poghosyan have joined the Extension team recently, and it is great to see such success in a short time. The AUA Prometric Test Center administers many different tests, such as GRE, PMP, USMLE STEP 1 and STEP 2, and others. We work hard to administer all tests with the highest professionalism possible, consistently striving to meet the needs of our customers and the requirements of Prometric,” said Sergey Tantushyan, Director of AUA Extension.

On February 5, 2019, the AUA Prometric team had successfully passed a secret shopping test, a procedure organized by the Prometric Global Security team, during which secret shoppers register as regular test-takers and attempt to breach test center security rules. The secret shop test is conducted every two years and is a critical component of earning the achievement award.
