About the Event:

International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative (RR) Office in Armenia in cooperation with the American University of Armenia (AUA) and Armenian Economic Association (AEA) invites you to a presentation on “Caucasus and Central Asia Regional Economic Outlook” by Yulia Ustyugova, IMF RR in Armenia.

The speaker will discuss the current state of affairs in the global economy and macroeconomic challenges for the region and Armenia.

Following the presentation, the speaker will have 20 minutes to answer questions from the audience.

About the Speaker:

Yulia Ustyugova has been the IMF Resident Representative in Armenia since August 2017. Previously she worked on Canada, Uruguay, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guatemala. Prior to joining the IMF staff, she worked at the Bank of Russia, taught at the Higher School of Economics, and served as an Advisor to Executive Director for the Russian Federation at the IMF. Her research focuses on fiscal and monetary policy frameworks in emerging market economies, and commodity prices and inflation dynamics. Yulia Ustyugova studied at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
