UX Crash Course

June 12, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - June 14, 2018 @ 8:00 pm +04

About the Event:

The workshop is designed for web/app developers and internet entrepreneurs alike. No prior experience with design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator or Sketch is required, but any knowledge of any of these helps. All you need is a strong interest in designing user-friendly interfaces and a desire to learn the tools to do it effectively. The course is meant to be interactive with DIY modules to reinforce learning.

Agenda:

• Why Design Matters: Crash Course in UX (Jun 12)

• Introduction to Sketch (Jun 13)

• Build an Interface in Sketch (Jun 14)

Important

You are expected to bring a Mac laptop with you (Sketch works only on Mac OS) with pre-installed Sketch (you can download a trial version from here: https://www.sketchapp.com/get/). There are ways to install Sketch also on your Windows laptop (Hackintosh or via Virtual Machine). As a last resort, we’ll provide you with machine, however we have a limited number of those.

Please note, that in case if you are not a Sketch user, or even if you are not going to use Sketch, it doesn’t mean that you won’t benefit from the course. You’ll be able to apply the UX principles learnt during the course also in another software.
