AUA Turpanjian Rural Development Program’s New Film Reflects TRDP’s 10 Years of Advancement

This short film, shot recently by the initiative of the Turpanjian Rural Development Program (TRDP) team, tells the story of the American University of Armenia’s (AUA) TRDP, which was launched in 2006 following a generous donation by Mr. Jirair Turpanjian with the purpose of encouraging sustainable economic development in rural Armenia.

Over the course of the last 10 years, TRDP has successfully supported the establishment of over 300 businesses and the creation of more than 500 jobs for rural communities of the Shirak, Tavush, and Vayots Dzor regions of Armenia and in Artsakh and Javakhk (Georgia). TRDP continues its operations in those regions today.
