English Language Teacher Educator Scott Thornbury’s Interview with Yerkir Media

YEREVAN, Armenian – An internationally recognized teacher educator in the field of English Language Teaching, Scott Thornbury along with Addeh Hovassapian of the British Council of Armenia spoke with Yerkir Media on education and language teaching in Armenia.

During his visit to Yerevan, Mr. Thornbury gave a series of lectures to English language teachers and teacher educators including one hosted by the AUA’s Center for Research in Applied Linguistics and Master’s Program in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (MA TEFL). During his visit to AUA, MA TEFL students and faculty met with Mr. Thornbury to discuss his teaching philosophy and his textbooks widely used in the MA TEFL curriculum.
