AUA Awards Certificates in Business Management

YEREVAN, Armenia – Pursuant to the collaboration agreement between the American University of Armenia and the Training Center of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, a State Non-Commercial Organization, certificates were awarded to nine young professionals who were enrolled in the program.  The curriculum of this Business Management program was developed jointly by the parties of the agreement and included courses in Management, Business Law, Organizational Behavior, Marketing, Finance, and the Tax System of the Republic of Armenia. 

The unique aspects of this intensive program provide a special experience for students to keep working while attending practical and applied courses in business management.  The program was implemented in the period October 2014 through April 2015.  Classes were held in the evenings and on weekends, and drew excellent faculty and experts from the AUA College of Business and Economics and industry.  In the words of Levon Barkhudaryan, advisor to the RA Minister of Finance, “This was a successful model of cooperation in education between the Ministry of Finance and the American University of Armenia. We look forward to the continuation of this worthy effort and to graduate many more in business management.” Attending on behalf of the AUA leadership were Ashot Ghazaryan and Gevorg Goyunyan who, in turn, applauded the program and the graduates.
