Hamazkayin Forum Participants Explore AUA

YEREVAN, Armenia – On July 21, participants in the Hamazkayin Student Cultural Forum visited the American University of Armenia. For most members of this international group of students – hailing from the US, Canada, Australia, France, Lebanon, Syria, Dubai, Georgia and Karabakh – this was a first visit to AUA.

The group toured the university, exploring the AGBU Papazian Library, Paramaz Avedisian Building, Center for Student Success, student lounge, cafeteria, and auditorium. “I was so impressed by the facilities and services that AUA offers,” said one participant. “I know that if I studied here, I would feel comfortable and at home.”

Arina Zohrabian, Director of Admissions, presented an overview of AUA to the group. “It is always an amazing experience to welcome Hamazkayin participants to the American University of Armenia,” she said. “We hope to see many return to AUA and take advantage of the great study opportunities available including summer programs, study abroad, or undergraduate and graduate degree programs. We also look forward to staying in touch with these students and welcoming another group next year.”
