International Monetary Fund Researchers Meet with College of Business and Economics Faculty and Students

YEREVAN, Armenia – On April 30, 2015, the American University of Armenia (AUA) hosted a working group of researchers from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by Deputy Chief of the Economic Modeling Division, Ales Bulir. The team met with faculty and students from the College of Business and Economics (CBE).

The main purpose of the meeting was to help CBE develop high quality economic research. The IMF team discussed several issues, including ideas for generating external funding for economic research. The team also conducted a presentation on “Issues relevant to Armenian monetary policy.”
