Dr. Knar Khachatryan Appointed Chair of BA in Business Program

YEREVAN, Armenia – The American University of Armenia (AUA) is pleased to share that Dr. Knar Khachatryan has been appointed Chair of the BA in Business (BAB) program. Dr. Khachatryan currently serves as Assistant Professor in the BAB program and will be replacing Dr. Sergey Tantushyan as Chair. Dr. Tantushyan expects to continue his teaching responsibilities at AUA on a part-time basis.

Dr. Khachatryan received her Doctorate in Economics from the University of Nice – Sophia Antipolis, and International Ph.D. in Management Science from SKEMA Business School, Sophia Antipolis and has been teaching at AUA for two years.  Her research deals with microfinance and microfinance institutions.  Most recently, she received the SAB Trophy for her dissertation on Sustainable Finance in 2015.
