The event was within the framework of Oxfam’s Support to Syrian Armenian Refugees Project, with partnership from the Armenian Redwood Project and the United Nations Refugee Agency (UCHCR).
The goal of the exhibition was to introduce new works and artists to the community, create an opportunity for networking and personal and professional development with different organizations, and shine a light on the issues that many Syrian Armenian refugees are facing in Armenia. It also served as a celebration of Syrian Armenian culture and resiliency, especially in the face of the current civil war taking place in Syria.
