MA TEFL Members Attend 2015 TESOL Arabia Conference

YEREVAN, Armenia – From March 12-14, 2015, 22 students, alumni, and faculty members of the American University of Armenia (AUA)’s Teaching English as a Foreign Language (MA TEFL) program traveled to Dubai, UAE to attend the International TESOL Arabia Conference. 19 of the 22 AUA attendees presented their projects, many of which were students’ capstone projects.

Attendance of some of the participants was made possible through generous travel grants from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the AUA’s Center for Research in Applied Linguistics.

TESOL Arabia is a not-for-profit teachers’ membership organization devoted to the professional development of its members, who are based in the UAE, Gulf region, and various countries around the world.
