Dr. Haroutune Armenian Presents on Turpanjian Rural Development Program
< 1 min readLA CRESCENTA, California – On November 9, 2014, Dr. Haroutune Armenian, President Emeritus of the American University of Armenia (AUA) and Chair of AUA’s Turpanjian Rural Development Program (AUA-TRDP) was a guest speaker on the subject of “AUA’s Turpanjian Rural Development Program in Armenia: Lessons Learned” at the Crescenta Valley Armenian Apostolic Church in LaCrescenta, California. His presentation discussed the objectives, accomplishments, and insights of the program.
The AUA-TRDP provides education and economic opportunities to people in rural areas of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic to encourage rural development, create jobs, and improve life in rural communities.
