AUA Receives $100K Endowment From the Navasargian Family

YEREVAN, Armenia – The American University of Armenia (AUA) is pleased to announce that Mrs. Alice Navasargian and her family have pledged an endowment gift of $100,000 to honor the memory of her late husband, Mr. Edward Navasargian. Her gift will be honored with the renaming of the current student lounge to the Navasargian Lounge. The Navasargian Lounge will be a comfortable space in which graduate and undergraduate students of all faculties can study, socialize, and enjoy a stunning view of Mount Ararat on clear days.

Founded in 1991, the American University of Armenia (AUA) is a private, independent university located in Yerevan, Armenia and affiliated with the University of California. AUA provides a global education in Armenia and the region, offering high-quality, graduate and undergraduate studies, encouraging civic engagement, and promoting public service and democratic values.
