AUA President Presents AUA Programs and Opportunities to Students at CSUN

LOS ANGELES, California – On March 20, 2014, President of the American University of Armenia (AUA) Dr. Bruce M. Boghosian was invited to California State University, Northridge (CSUN) to present AUA’s graduate, undergraduate, and summer programs to interested students. The event, entitled “An Evening with the American University of Armenia,” was organized by CSUN’s Armenian Studies Program, in collaboration with Alpha Epsilon Omega, Alpha Gamma Alpha, and the Armenian Students’ Association at CSUN.

Nearly 100 people were present at the event from CSUN, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, and the Armenian Youth Federation. Dr. Boghosian presented AUA’s graduate and undergraduate programs. He also presented the Summer 2014 program, which will offer a course in Armenian heritage and culture, as well as excursions and visits to various cultural sites throughout Armenia. President Boghosian also touched upon AUA’s accreditation, sharing that AUA is the first American-accredited institution to offer both a graduate and undergraduate program in the former Soviet Union.
