Student Council Election Campaigning Begins at AUA

YEREVAN–Student Council (SC) election campaigning began this week at the American University of Armenia (AUA)

AUA’s Student Council is a democratically elected body representing the needs, interests, and wishes of AUA’s student community to the larger AUA community.

The Student Council is one of many unique aspects to being a student at AUA, providing opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Student Council is also a place for to organize initiatives, projects and events.

Candidates are required to publish their statements of purpose online for student review during the week-long campaign period.  The statements can be viewed on the Student Council’s website here.
